Follow Rookley down “Mechanics Alley,” an Acid Jazz meets Abstract Ambient Trip

New York’s Rookley follows up his stellar debut single, “Melatonin,” with “Mechanics Alley,” an acid jazz influenced organic abstract track inspired by a forgotten alley the artist discovered while walking through the city late at night. Appearing on his upcoming Weak or Absent Signals EP, the new song embodies the juxtaposition of the seemingly untouched alley, which resembles the early 1930’s, with the surrounding streets, which reflect contemporary designs. Venture down “Mechanics Alley” and “Melatonin” below. Weak or Absent Signals is out November 24th via AIMEND.
